Ex- Doctor Accused of Assault Allegations Involving 38 Patients
Prosecutors have announced that a former doctor stands accused of committing sexual assaults involving 38 victims who were patients.
The Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of sexual offences â including acts against children younger than 13 â between 2017 and 2021.
One deputy chief CPS official said, âLegal teams have worked at length to support a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.â
The Police Inquiry
The charges follow what investigators called a âcomplex investigationâ into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 charges he is charged with:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
